Our Identity: Who and What we Are, Part 2

OUR IDENTITY: WHO and WHAT we are - Part 2
As we begin to realise WHO we are, we then become aware of WHAT we are. We become Kingdom Restorers in the lives of others. We INSTRUMENTS in his hand, we become AMBASSADORS of the Kingdom, extending his kingdom through our lives, in our workplaces, homes, communities, cities and country. As his sons, we are given his power and authority. We are given authority to preach the gospel, heal the sick, raise the dead, and cast out demons. We have been given the keys of the Kingdom. We are ALL given authority to bind and to loose things on earth, and release heaven to earth, through intercessions, through our prophetic declarations and decrees, and through the Rhema Word of God.
And just as British coins has the Queen's head on it, resembling her authority; this empowers and authorizes the value of the coin. We have been given that same empowering and authority to carry out the works of the Kingdom, through our sonship and relationship to the King.
As sons, we are also given responsibilities – we are STEWARDS of the gospel, stewards of our own lives, stewards of the Kingdom of God, and stewards of this earth. We are responsible to take of the earth, to use the tools he has given us and the keys he has given us. We are responsible to use the gifts he has given us also. Jesus told a sobering parable about servants who were given 1, 5 and 10 coins or mina. One servant buried his, and did nothing with it – in the parable the coin was taken from him and given to the servant who had ten. Jesus said, "everyone who has, MORE will be given to him, but as for the one who has nothing, even what he has will be taken away... " (Luke 19:11-26). We need to make sure that we use and multiply the gifts and has given us. We need to occupy the Kingdom!
We have also been given dominion, as a CO-HEIRS, over this world. In Romans 8:17 it says, "Now if we are children, then we are heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory." We were made to be kings of this earth – everything is under our feet because he has given it to us. We are RULERS in THIS age, and the age to come (see 1 Cor 6:2-3). We rule and reign in the spiritual realm when we take authority and use it according to God's will, purpose and plan. We take authority when we use God's power within us over sickness, disease, death, demons, powers of darkness, evil and injustice, and we take dominion over the earth and it's atmospheres and weather conditions, when they threaten and endanger lives.
We rule and reign when we administer or release Godly justice and laws, over situations, over injustice, over slavery, corruption, poverty, and the like, e.g. child and people trafficking, abuse and violence. We need to take our stand and do these things from the heavenly realms – seek his wisdom and do things his way – then we are ruling and reigning with him.
We rule and reign when we release blessings or judgements (on evil or situations), when we bind or loose people and situations. We open doors or shut them from the heavenly realm. We release or hold back blessings as Elijah did when he held back the rain in Israel. Matthew 18:18 says: "I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." Let that scripture sink in.
We are also CO-CREATORS with God. When he plants a vision or dream in our hearts and we agree with him, we pray and we seek his wisdom and his ways, and we work together with Him to bring that vision or dream to pass – we co-create with him. We also co-create when God brings two or more people's vision together e.g. I have a vision for a ministry centre and someone else shares a similar vision – we pray, we agree together, we seek God and move forwards into action and into the vision. The vision or dream often requires many people to accomplish it and carry it out. Together, jointly, we are co-creating with each other and with God.
We co-create when we seek him and intercede for people, situations and nations, when we decree and release what he has said and shown us – we co-create with him. We may not be the ones who carry out the mission or work needed, but what we do is release heaven to earth, release angels to work, release the seed of his word into motion, and what is sent, is carried out by angels and the Holy Spirit – it does not come back void but it accomplishes that which it was sent out to do.
We co-create when we obey God – when he asks us to do something, and we act in faith, our faith and obedience is an action that creates faith, healing, growth, comfort, strength etc to ourselves and to others. It sows seeds and it produces fruit. Co-creation.
We co-create when we administer God's healing power and miracles. We create faith and hope, and we release new life into people, by God's power within us. Co-creation.
We co-create when we minister to people, either in groups or one to one. When we minister in love, in prayer, in words or in actions, it releases faith, seeds of God's words, freedom, healing to the souls and lives of others. These things are gifts from God that have power to change lives, and changed lives are co-creation.
We co-create when we teach and preach the gospel, inspired by His Spirit. His Word and is powerful – His word is a double edged sword dividing asunder joint and marrow. His word creates conviction, comfort, strength, faith and courage. When we release God's presence to people around us as light and salt, in our daily lives, in street ministry etc, we release His Kingdom to the earth. We are co-creating and ruling by taking dominion over darkness.
The King is advancing his Kingdom through us as his children and instruments of righteousness, as we let him rule and reign through us. Remember WHO you are and WHAT you are – you are sons of God who the world is waiting to be revealed: Romas 8:19, "The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed."
To sum up WHO we are and WHAT we are -
